Celebrating Black History Month 2023

At GreenLight, we echo this sentiment and join with countless others who acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of our fellow Black Americans, especially our educators and philanthropic partners like the Communities Foundation of Texas, commit, and Dallas County Promise. These organizations are helping to keep the dream alive for all students to realize their potential by attaining post-secondary education. In addition, it is through collaborative efforts, like what we have with Texas Woman’s University and Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District, North Central Texas College, Texas A&M University-Commerce, and The University of Texas at Arlington, to narrow the college graduation and employment gap of underserved populations by increasing students’ free access and control of their academic records.
